How to Use Your Wand​

Eleven Ways to Use Your Crystal Wand...

1- Place within a room where you would like to cleanse the negative energy or increase the positive energy (or both).  Place the point of the wand in the direction you would like the most positive energy to be focused.

2- In times of high anxiety or stress hold your wand gently in front of you with both hands with the crystal point directed upward toward the top of your head. Now close your eyes and breathe deeply for a few minutes until you feel calmness returning.

3- To deepen and enhance prayer states, hold your wand while praying. Feel the crystal energy support and enhance the energy of your prayers. Thank God for the wonderful gifts given to us from the Earth to uplift and add beauty to our lives.

4- Hold or place near you during meditation to quicken and encourage deeper meditative states. I have found the wands’ energies to be especially powerful when used during meditation within a meditation pyramid as well.

5- Give as a gift to uplift and support someone you love during times of stress or life challenges or trials. Choose a wand with animal totems or crystals that seem to most resonate with the person  or their situation. 6- When feeling tired or ill hold the wand (or if lying down) place the wand down on your chest so that it aligns with your spine. Now lie still and allow the energies of the wand and its crystals to relax you and maybe even lead you to a restful healing sleep.

7- To help with relieving sleeplessness and worry at night, hold the wand gently in your hands just before going to sleep. Say a small prayer for peaceful sleep or meditate for a moment to clear your mind of the problems of the day. Place the wand on a table close to your bed, so that if you awaken in the night you can hold the wand and repeat the prayer or meditation and return to sleep.

8- To help with communication problems with a family member or partner. Have your partner or family member hold the wand gently in front of them. Sit facing your partner. Now encourage them to talk about all that is important to them or bothering them. As long as they hold the wand, you may not speak, but must simply listen. After they have finished telling you what they need to have them place the wand down in between both of you. Now sit in silence for one full minute. You may look at each other during this time (or not), it is up to you, but no one should speak. When the minute is up, now you may pick up the wand. Now it is your turn to talk about anything that is on your mind and how you feel. While you are holding the wand, your partner should not speak at all either, but just listen. When you are done, you should place the wand down. Again wait a full minute while neither of you speaks. Then you should embrace or hold hands for a moment, (whatever form of affection seems appropriate for your relationship). Then you should each go separately away from the room for an hour or two to do something apart from each other and give yourselves time to internalize the ideas and emotions of the other person. You will find that by doing this exercise regularly your relationships will improve exponentially over time.

9- To deepen dream states and enhance dream recall hold your wand in your hands right before bed. State your intentions audibly or silently to find answers, direction and guidance within your dreams for the coming night. Now place the wand near you on a bedside table with the crystal point aimed in the direction of your heart or head while you are lying in your bed. When you wake up in the morning, try not to move at first. Think about the dreams you had and let your mind wander backwards in time over the previous night’s dreams. When you can no longer remember anything more, arise and write the memories of what you dreamed down quickly into a journal. Do not worry if you are not certain of what the dreams mean at first. With time their meaning will become crystal clear to you.

10- If you are a professional healer use your wand to direct and focus your healing or reiki energies to specific Chakra points on or near your clients’ bodies. Gently hold the wand an inch or two above the subject needing healing as you do so. There is no need to touch the person with the wand, but merely point the end of the crystal wand in the direction you would like the healing energy to flow and silently or audibly state your intentions for healing to occur in that area.

11- To focus and increase personal energy and intention during spell work or candle magic. Hold the wand and point it in the direction you want your energy to flow (at the candle flame is most effective during candle magic).
